I met Anna Ford around four years ago now; at the time my daughter’s pony, a twenty year old, had broken his left hip in a fall. Andy had come back into work after nearly a year off in the paddock and the vet said it was time to get him moving again. A friend put me onto Anna, and this is where our relationship began.

Anna did amazing things for Andy, her red light and magical hands worked miracles on him, and boy did he love it and her , and this was a pony who was not known for his love for humans!. I am not a horsey person and being able to listen and talk to Anna through these sessions, it became obvious what a wealth of knowledge she was on horses, and more importantly she is willingly to pass it on.

Andy recovered well and my daughter Grace rode him at the 2015 Eden Gymkhana, and had her best ride ever, even managing to do some jumping with him (for an old boy who was not trained to jump, he went exceptionally well)

I have been using Epona Equine Massage and Laser Therapy for the last 6 years now and have found that the massaging and laser therapy is integral to keeping my horses sound, pain free and competing as top class athletes. It is now an essential part of my routine in the show season and out of season for both the young horses and the top class competitive horses in my team.

Dressage is a strenuous activity on the horse’s bodies and if I expect my horses to perform at top level, I have to treat their mind and body like the athletes they are.

I have been using Epona Equine therapy for three years now and it is an essential component of the complete approach to their performance. They have treatments year round on a regular schedule to ensure they are feeling good and to aid in the prevention and management of injuries.
